Employing about one lakh crafts persons in the district, it was granted the GI tag in 2014 making the biggest hub of wood carving in India.

My years in the craft have taught me to understand people. I know who is best suited for the task, and how to bring out the best in everyone.
I learned the art of carpentry from my father, and for the past 15 years, I’ve been dedicated to this craft.
My smile? People say it’s like a ray of hope and I believe a positive mind can turn any challenge into a solution.
I’m always curious about newness into my work. My carpentry is a perfect blend of traditional skills and modern designs and forms.
